Serves: 2 Prep: 20 minutes + set
This decadent but guilt free dessert is rich in healthy fats, gluten free, dairy free friendly and no added sugar.
Ingredients:
Flesh of 1 large creamy, ripe avocado
125ml full fat coconut milk ( canned)
3 tbsp raw cacao
2 tbsp sugar free maple syrup (*alternatives below)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Roasted macadamias, chopped to serve
Method:
1. In a blender combine avocado, coconut milk, cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla until smooth.
2. Spoon into serving glasses and place in refrigerator to set.
3. Serve chilled and top with chopped macadamias.
Notes: Use your preferred choice of sweetener to make these such as sugar free maple syrup, monk fruit powder, monk fruit concentrate or stevia. Adjust to taste.
