Made using Qetoe’s thick, chewy low carb noodles, it’s loaded with juicy prawns or chicken, egg, crunchy sprouts, and just the right kick of sweet and spicy sauce. This guilt-free version delivers all the flavour of your favourite mamak-style noodles — in under 15 minutes and without the carbs. Perfect for a weeknight fakeaway or quick meal prep win!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Qetoe Low Carb Noodles
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp oil (vegetable, olive, or avocado)
  • 100g cooked chicken, prawns, or tofu
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup shredded cabbage or chopped greens
  • 1 tbsp low sugar tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chilli paste or sambal (optional)
  • Wedge of lime & fried shallots (optional) to serve

Directions

  1. Prepare Qetoe noodles according to instructions (rinse or soak in hot water until soft).
  2. Heat oil in a wok or pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken, prawns, or tofu. Cook for 1–2 mins until heated through.
  4. Push to the side, crack in the egg and scramble gently.
  5. Add Qetoe noodles, tomato sauce, soy sauce, and chilli paste. Stir-fry to coat.
  6. Toss in bean sprouts and cabbage. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes more.
  7. Serve hot with a lime wedge and optional fried shallots.
