I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I was surprised by the dense jelly like consistency of the bar. I guess it makes sense when you think of it as a solid kinda bone broth/collagen type thing. I did eat it all for my morning tea break,but didn't love it. The banana flavour tasted a bit like banana lollies with a mild undertone of beef. Much prefer the regular kind of nut/whey based protein bars that I normally buy, although if you were a consumer really wanting to get that protein into you, these do give you a whopping 27g so represent a great value mega protein snack.
